Nintendo will be exhibiting at the consumer event Game Stars Live this September. NINTENDO SIGNS FOR GAME STARS LIVE
Friday 7 May 2004/... Nintendo today confirmed that it has signed up for the major new high profile consumer and press event, Game Stars Live.
Nintendo will have a major presence at the event which takes place at London's Excel from 1st September 2004.
David Yarnton, UK General Manager of Nintendo, said: "Game Stars Live presents a major opportunity to get the greatest games in the world in front of gamers in the run up to the busiest sales period of the year."
The hardware giant is the first platform holder to sign up and joins Electronic Arts, Activision, Atari, Eidos, Nokia and Vivendi Universal as exhibitors at the new events.
Game Stars Live is based on the ITV video and computer games show, Game Stars. It will be a multi-format consumer gaming event and will include a main stage area from which the media partners including ITV, Capital FM and XFM will broadcast. It will also include a series of features such as The Bear Pit games challenges, The Virtual vs. Reality Zone, The European Online Gaming Championships, and Get Into Gaming, a careers and education zone, amongst many others.
