The spiky blue hedgehog is let loose on February 27th.THQ ANNOUNCES SONIC BATTLE FOR GAME BOY ADVANCE
Woking, Surrey UK, 20 February 2004 – THQ Inc. gives gamers the chance to wrestle with (or as) the world's most famous Hedgehog this month, with the launch of Sonic Battle on Nintendo Game Boy Advance.
As Sonic and his friends set out to determine which one of them is really the best fighter, Sonic Battle promises to bring furious combat action to the GBA. Players can choose from eight characters including our very own spiky blue buddy, as well as old favourites Tails and Knuckles. Each has their own strengths and very special fighting skills. Then simply choose the arena, set the rules, customise your special attacks, and engage in non-stop battle!
Up to four friends can link systems together using the GBA Game Link cable for team battles, and then combine special attacks into devastating combos! If gamers prefer to battle solo, that's fine – they simply work through the Story Mode and develop their very own AI fighting partner. Either way, Sonic Battle is the ultimate showdown between Sonic and his friends.
Features include:
-Fast gameplay and furious battle starring Sonic, Tails, Shadow and more
-Eight playable characters and one mystery fighter to unlock
-Multiple special attacks for each character, as well as team-based cooperative attacks
-With three types of special attacks, as well as Ground, Aerial and Defence techniques, you can customise your character to suit your fighting style 3D battles for up to four players, either solo or in teams
-Single player mode lets you create and train your own AI fighter
-Additional Party Game that lets up to four players compete on one cartridge
Sonic Battle from THQ is released on February 27th for Game Boy Advance.
