Has GC been disappointing for you?

Has the GC been a disappointment for you, compared to past Nintendo systems. With the sole exception of Agent Under Fire, I love all 26 of my other games, so no, to me, the GC has not been disappointing! But...

Many people seem to be disappointed with games like The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker, Super Mario Sunshine, Star Fox Adventures, just to name a few as they want them to be as good as their predecessors (with the possible exception of tWW, they all are). But, some believe GC may be even BETTER than the almighty SNES (me!) with its massive amount of sweet games, old and new. To me, just as long as the flow of quality games doesn't wither, then I truly believe GC to be the best system ever! There are mixed thoughts on the system, and would like to hear yours.

So, what do you think of the little box thus far, and has it surpassed, fallen short, or equal your expectations?

Just wait till Tales comes out, then I'll answer your question...

(Wind Waker, Metroid Prime, and Melee alone make the GC a very "un-disappointing" system)

Yes!

Super Smash Bros. Melee, Metroid Prime, and Wind Waker are the three classic games of GC, along with countless other quality games as icing on the cake. GC easily beats out the NES and N64, to me, and just barely trumps the SNES. I just wish Super Mario 64 could be remade.

I think it really matters on what is out right now and what isn't. Our mind thought of games totally different back in the day. Games have changed for the most part. I don't think the GC has disappointed me at all, but to compare them to NES and SNES.. well I would have to say they were the greater of systems. I still play my NES and SNES roms constantly. They have the classics that I love dearly, and I will never seperate from them. Nintendo is a family though, and I don't pick favorites, I love the Nintendo Family in a whole. =0)
