anyone else highly dissapointed that hitman3 is not coming to the cube.  I dont know why they would bring the 2nd one, but then totally dis us on the 3rd one.  Maybe we could get enough people together to make a petition.

I'll tell you why.  Because Eidos are a bunch of d!cks who released Hitman 2 6 months late on GC, and then they have the audacity to be disappointed in sales.  They then say 'GC is kiddie, and mature games dont sell', thus pulling all support when in fact it all boils down to them being lazy punks.  Hows that?

I am highly disappointed as well.

Hitman 2, and for similar reasons Conflict: Desert Storm, came late cuz their publishers pity us by giving old ports with several minor gameplay improvements.

Rumor is that Hitman 2 GC was ported over by 1 programmer.  That doesn't just show [if true] how lazy Eidos was, but how far they'll go to "save money" on development.

Ahh, Hitman: Contracts...now there's going to be a good game.  I'll be picking it up for my PC, mind you, but the lack of a GCN version shows that publishers like Eidos are unwilling to lose a single penny, even if it makes customers angry.  Still, I suppose they are somewhat justified, seeing as how Hitman 2 sold fairly badly on the 'Cube due to it's late release from the PS2 and XBox versions, and even later from the PC version, where it sold the most.

Well, if you're really craving for something from IO Interactive, you can always pick up Freedom Fighers.  While the PC version is superior to the console versions due to better controls, it's still quite a fun game.  I highly recommend it.

yeah, i thought hitman 2 was a great game. i have to give a little bit of credit to eidos, when the game came out it was actually cheaper then both the ps2 and xbox versions at the time.  well, at least in my area anyways. it was only a couple of months later that they both went players choice though i think.

too bad we wont get get hitman 3.

The Hitman Saga is better off on the PC anyway.
I love the Hitman games... but I'm not fussed that H3 isn't coming out for the GCN.

Eidos are one of my favourite Gaming Producers... but I think that their games should stick to PC/X-Box.
