registering my stuff on my nintendo?
« on: January 05, 2004, 12:16:17 PM »
so i signed up an account and registered 2  games 1 cube and one sp.

it showed  nothing to  confirm this registration, nothing of the zelda disk as well.

so i tried to register them again and no luck, it then said those had already been registered.
so has  this been  a reoccuring issue we all dealt with and it will work even though it seems like it did not?

thanks

The very same thing happened to me.  You should receive an e-mail confirmation detailing the shipment of your Zelda compilation disc within a couple days; however, if you don't, e-mail Nintendo (at nintendo@noa.nintendo.com) and be sure to describe your problem with utmost detail (they have a problem with playing stupid--at least with me, so just give them all the information you can).  Good luck.

I complained to them a couple of times and they were really mean when they replied. They were like, "Maybe you should check your My Nintendo account. Your games have INDEED been registered." Anyways, its not like they can hurt me...right?

I noticed this too, and was rather worried at first. However, all you need to do is "sign out" and then "sign in" again and it should update what you have registered.

What was really scaring me was that I registered Double Dash, Mario & Luigi, GBA, and GBA SP and still no bonus disc. So I just registered my GCN too and, bingo, that got it.

Yeah, they want to make sure you own a Gamecube. Just in case you bought MK: DD for your PS2.

After logging back in it shows  what I registered so that is a bit of a relief but still no mention of a disk? is that  an email  that comes later and not mentioned on the site anywhere?

also I seem to get an insecure notice on every page of their site. Anyone else get that?

Like I said, they like to play stupid, and that is just their way.

That would be in the e-mail, but do what my first post said if you don't receive one.

thanks  for pointing me to the thread, as far as getting an email about it being moved,  i get over 50 emails a day to  go through, business and otherwise so i can easily overlook some.

as far as it being moved, your forum so  whatever but seems all is being talked about is stuff for the "gamecube".

again thanks for the address.
