Topic: Why do the Yugioh! games suck?

Not to say that they are all bad, (the GBA versions) but come on! The PS2 game was bad, this one was horrible, and so on. This is a big show and card game going on right now, so they should at least make a home console game GOOD.

It the same this that happed with Pokemon. Its called franchise milking. Konami doesn't care if the concole games are good as long as the card game (it orginal form) keeps selling.

What can you expect from an anime that basis itself on a card game? A full-blown RPG could be good, with the stupid card battles at crucial points in the story or something. =/

I wouldn't outright say the pokemon is beening milked in the total sense. Some molking has happened, but atleast the game themselfs were relatively solid most of the way. Look how Lucas Arts milks Star Wars. How many of those games turned out to be rubbish?

I am not defending Milking, but to genrally brand it on anything that has a sequal is abit broad.

They suck because konami doesnt care. They just want the game to sell, and to do that all they realy need is the name yugioh and a 3d rendered blue eyes.

What I want is an online PC yugioh game that has fully rendered monsters and the rules of the real card game. The card game is great but who the hell wants to shell out for all the cards?
The GBA games are ok but the AI on later levels is crap, to make the characters more difficult they just give em magic powers to see face down cards. And even the hardest characters are still easy if you know what you are doing.

So uh yeah, I want to play online against people with fully rendered 3d monsters. Different rules would be cool too. And maybe dungeon dice.

It would be cool if they made a online Yugioh! game where you could run around towns, buy new cards, and challenge REAL people. This would be great.
