1.) Ocarina of Time - Leaving Saria...

I know what you mean, Bill.  I felt really sick to my stomach having to watch Saria leave. . . you leave everyone behind, really, but her especially. . .

I remember Little Nemo for NES. . . could never beat it without game genie, but it left me with an awesome feeling nonetheless.  Same goes for Jackal.  And Kirby (no game genie for Kirby). . . NES Kirby was a GREAT game; so much stuff to do.

Never owned a Super Nintendo, but there were tons of great games I recall playing with my friend.  There's one I'm still trying to find; if anyone could help, that'd be great, but I have so little info it'd barely help.  I think it's two player co-op, overhead for walking around and I think maybe a side view for fighting.  It seems that they were travelling through China, but I'm not sure.  Anyway, I think that might've been a good game

Star Fox 64: Extremely good game. . . I don't really recall any specific wonderful moments, but there's an array of small stuff, trying to defeat enemies and beat levels in different ways, harder ways.  Much fun.

Playing Mario 64 for the first time. . . a friend of mine came over and did a dialogue between Mario (whom he dubbed Timmy) and his dead grandfather, who ruled the castle, while I played.  Much stuff branched off of that, and it was a lot of fun.

SSBM: Tons and tons of fun, awesome, cool matches with murk280.  Great game.

Here's a couple of my favourite moments. I'll try to be spoiler free.

Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time - I just remember the first time playing it and how utterly WOWED I was by it. Running around Kokiri Village at the beginning just seemed so amazing. Ocarina of Time was EXACTLY what I wanted out of 3D Zelda game. The whole experience is memorable.

Metroid Prime - I really suck at this game so I'm kind of stuck but the whole experience thus far has been incredible. It's the only Cube game thus far to give me a feeling of awe. I don't think the gameplay is perfect but the atmosphere and attention to detail is the best I've ever seen.

Super Smash Bros Melee - Beating Event 51 and as a result unlocking the sound test. This is probably my favourite game moment ever because it's something I did, not something I watched. If my Smash Bros save ever gets deleted I will cry like a little girl.

Banjo-Kazooie - I was initially put off by the N64 so I didn't play this game until a few years later when my brother finally bought a used console. The game itself is a Super Mario 64 clone (though a good one) but what really stood out for me was the intro. I had NEVER seen an intro like that before. The music and the animation was unlike anything I had seen on the SNES (which was the most recent console I had owned at the time).

Metroid Fusion - This is a potential spoiler. I'm going to use a really bare bones description but if you're a real stickler for going in fresh look away. I really loved the part where you first encounter the frozen body of an old foe. I'm pretty sure I said "holy sh!t" for that one even though it's not that big of a surprise if you think about it.

Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past - This one is a very memorable moment that really can't be replicated. I bought A Link to the Past used without an instruction manual. At the time I had never played a Zelda game and knew very little about the series except that they were REALLY good games. I remember when I first beat Agahnim and was teleported to the top of the pyramid in the dark world. Sounds pretty insignificant, huh? Well it was a big deal to me because I had NO CLUE that there was a whole other world to play in. The fact that I still had most of the game ahead of me was a complete shock. Of course most people didn't have this same experience because the two worlds were explained in the manual. Personally I think that most manuals contain too much info and should only tell you the barebones controls and leave levels, enemies, and power-ups out completely. Games would be much more surprising that way.

You mean there's a dark world?  AWWWW!  Why'd you tell me?!

Nah, that's cool, though.  I know that feeling. . . I never read manuals, so I get little surprises all the time.

Americas army, hey, I got one of those.

On the alaskan pipline level. I was on assault. I had the 203 and was watching the vent for my rival, the rest of my team (all 4 of them) ran off to wherever the hell they wanted, then they all got taken out extremely quickly. 3 of them by one enemy frag nade and the last by whatever, cant remember. So, I was still hiding by the spawn point and uttered a censored "****!". So it was me vs. 5 other guys carrying various high powered weapons, meanwhile I was sitting in my little spot with nothing but a semi-auto assault rifle equiped with a grenade launcher.

So, first guy eventualy pops out the front door, he sees me, freezes for some reason (he was readying the nade launcher portion of his own 203) so then, I readied mine for some reason, not realy a bright move as I could have shot him easily. So then, he fires one out, misses, and I fire one out, hits him right in the face, yay.

Ok, one down. A fluke I assume. Then I move over to the shed and keep an eye on the front door for his buddies. And I switch my weapon to burst fire. Guy pops out, lucky me, I start shooting, and missing, he shoots back, I get hit, I shoot back some more, hes dead. And im wounded and bleeding.

Some dude heard us and pops out of the basement door to the left of the front door. I see him, he doesnt see me, he has an AR so I hide behind the shed. I shoot at him, miss, he shoots back, misses, I shoot back, hes dead, I win again. Interesting I thought.

Then immediately I see another dude that probably heard me kill him, so he pops out the same door, sees me, chases me, I run and hide back at the spawn point without him seeing me. So hes by the sheds looking for me and about to find me. So I just pull out a frag nade for fun, im gonna die anyways. I toss it over the fence and by the sheds, it goes off, takes him down along with his other buddy that I never saw.

I won. 5 guys of various honor levels vs. level 8 little ol me. Surprised the hell outa me, teamates say whoa. I go back to sucking.

Great moment. Something you never get in single player games.

Another moment im sure to have is when I finaly get FFXI and start getting the ***t beat outa me by trains of giant beasts, outside of Bastok.

Getting your ass beat is one of the greatest things you can find in a game. Especialy when the time comes when you get to be the beater of ass.

Hmm, what else. Wind Waker of course, kicking gannons ass and that final sword through the brain. Suprised the hell outa me.

OoT, first time Ghoma apeared. I thought the game was like mario up till that moment. Then beating her and watching her crumble and burn. That was cool.

MGS the dude pissing himself, yeah, memorable. He better do it in Twin Snakes or im gonna write a letter.

But anyways, Americas Army, good game, best of all, its free. Download it and play it, its only 650 megs.
