Well, often times the televisions at hotels don't even have A/V jacks to plug into. If they do, they don't usually have a game or auxilery channel to veiw the game on, they will have a menu instead. Of course, this is for all the main hotel chains that have things like movies and SNES or N64's available to play through their fanny pants hybrid controller/remote doowab. If you're going to some small motel they most likely will have just regular televsions so you can play your GC.
Bu for the most part, they want you to pay to use the services they provide. Makes sense.
