Topic: Link betwen RE: Apocolypse & RE4?

I don't know if anyone else has thought of it yet, but I had a thought regarding the second movie and RE4.  Originally most thought the movie would be released in April and since principle shooting has already ended its certainly possible to have it out come that time of year.  However, we all know that RE4's release date has been as solid as ice in the middle of the Sahara Desert.  With tie in marketing being so huge these days, does anyone else think its possible that someway, somehow RE4 is looking for a release around the same time frame?  The later then anticipated release could very well be our first real hint at when we finally get to play RE4!!!

I doubt it, RE 4 and the movie are going to come out internationally at different times. This would only work in one country, so Capcom probably wouldn't bother.

I have a feeling that they will do it again like the original movie and game(movie in APR game first day of may)

The movie comes out in October, the movie was pushed back six months because the director is splitting time between RE and Alien vs. Predator

Apocolypse is based on RE2 right? If it is, then there is an interesting article at residentevilfan.com. It's a copy of Leon's diary that tells what happens between Resident Evils 2 and 4. I haven't read it yet because I haven't played RE2 yet.

Apocalypse is already going to suck in the gamer's eye for adding the game characters to a list of made-up characters...What's the point?

I have much faith in Paul Anderson.  When he takes a video game series and makes it into a movie he works magic.  You know you all LOVED the first Mortal Kombat movie, and RE was awesome as well.  That is all.

Resident Evil was a decent action movie, but an adaptation of the game it was not...

Suspense?  None

Horror?  Hardly

Complete shattering of the RE storyline?  Yep

The movie was obviously trying to get the game fans by using the name, just like Spirits Within did...I wish George Romero's script was used...

I wonder how the peoples in Hollywood are creative, like why did they name that place the Hive in RE movie, it was a 10 thumbs down for me, RE:Appoc (movie) better be good
