modem adapter??

does anyone know when it might come out for australians? im aussie and just got my GC yesterday. is it out in the us or japan, cause if it is i could import it in.

if our legs bent the other way, what would chairs look like?

If you really wanted one, i believe that you can import that hardware because it is not region specific.  I know when the shortage of BBA happened here in the US people imported them without problem from Japan.  Even if they are region specific you could import one from europe to get a PAL modem.

we don't have best buy's in australia casey it's not actually released here yet, the bba i mean, would be a fair bet to say that it would be out for the release of Mario Kart though.

how would i connect it a cable internet connection to the modem? router?

They may not be region specific, but Is there a diference in internet between Aust. and Japan( wondering if its similar to the power sockets)

it doesnt go in a power socket, it only goes into the gamecube.
(well im extremely sure)

You dont.  There are two types of adapters:  Broadband, which is what you want, and the modem, which uses dial up connection.  So all you need to do is get the broadband adapter and run the necessary cables from your computer to the router I guess to the gamecube.
