Shantae's latest adventure will be arriving just before Christmas.

XSEED, publishers of the physical edition of the game, confirmed an earlier report from developer WayForward that the Wii U version would launch on December 20. The "Risky Boots Edition", which includes the game on a disc and a soundtrack CD, will launch on the 27th for Wii U.

I've seen the physical release of this game on my Amazon wish list slip from September all the way to late December so I'm glad it's finally coming out.
