Haha- that's awesome. The mint green is so cool, with the plate on top and the Giftpia logo on the controller.

Superlink: Nintendo does sell them- only $2, too. For some reason Nintendo doesn't like direct linking to their store, so go to Nintendo.com. click on Store, then on Parts and Accessories, Manuals, then on Nintendo Gamecube, then on Parts and Accessories, then on Nameplate Assembly.

SuperLink: Minor detail. I found a phone number you can all in Canada to order system parts if you want (1.800.255.3700). There's more info at Nintend of Canada's Customer Service page.

Shorty: It's a very quirky cel shaded RPG-esque game very similar to Animal Crossing. I've heard some great things about it, and I guess it's popular enough in Japan to get it's own special Cube.

can i for a moment, question the validity of this picture?

the mint greeng gamecube is being released only in japan with Tales of Symphonia (see above link) so this leads me to assume that this picture, for some reason, is not entirely true. is there a news release with said picture? or any other confirmation?
