has anyone played this game for ngc?  i've read reviews about it online, and most sites rank it in the mid-80's, but they all mention drops in framerate as being a big problem.  does the framerate issue really detract from the enjoyment of the game, or are the sites being too critical (as they usually are in cases like these)?
Why must all things be so bright? Why can things not appear only in hues of brown! I am so serious about this! Dull colors are the future! The next generation! I will never accept a world with such bright colors! It is far too childish! I will rage against your cheery palette with my last breath!

No it doesn't.  My friend bought it a week ago and we both enjoy it a lot.  It can get pretty intense in some sections though.  The cutscenes are awesome!
We've been losing a lot of members due to a lack of "gimmicky features", but don't worry, true Nintendo Gallery fans know where it's at!

Yeah, I just read Gamespy's review...they gave it a 90/100...I may have to check it out once PGC gets a review out as well (Their reviews match my taste in games the most).

the game can get a little choppy in some sections but it doesnt happen that often and when it does it doesnt hamper the gameplay
the game is great- like mgs with its stealth but you can play through the levels any way you want
if you want stealth you got it, if you want guns blazing you got it
thats the beauty of the game- i highly recommend it if you have yet to play through it
i call the big one bitey.

That sums it up nicely.

If you'd like to make the game a little more thought provoking, try to figure out how to kill the targets without killing and alerting anyone else and not killing innocents.

Loath though I am to dredge up a week-old thread, I'm curious to see some more opinions on this game (it is quite new, so I figure there might be some fresh impressions to be had).  On the framerate issue in particular.

I bought the game recently and am thinking of bringing it back due to performance issues, specifically in outdoor areas.  But, I'm currently immersed in a couple of other games (Splinter Cell, Metroid Prime), so I've only played a couple of missions.  In both I noticed (sometimes ugly) slowdowns, but only occasionally.  It wasn't enough to completely throw me off my game; it was enough, however, to make me wonder if all the missions have some issues.

So if there's anyone out there who has finished it (or at least played a majority of the missions) and could provide some guidance, it would be much appreciated.

Cheers.
