Some textures have been updated, mostly the ground textures I've noticed, but other small things have too. Link's model (at least the hat I noticed) looked like it was updated too (I maybe seeing things though).
Sometimes, you just want to play a video game.

It would really have made more sense to make the comparison with the GameCube version, then you wouldn't have had to reverse the video.

That would require Jared to be able to easily obtain a copy of the GameCube version. Let's not have unreasonable expectations here.

I hope so, I recall feeling that Link's model was a little stiff the last time I played Twilight Princess.

The Gamecube version is so much better. I feel like people will only now be experiencing TP for what it really is.

Why is the GC version TP so much better?, are are referring to controls only?. I had no problem with the Wii's motion controls, especially pointing and aiming the hook shot, it felt like using BATMAN's grappling gun  ;D .

Is the intro part on the Gamecube version shorter?

Its because the Wii's tacked on motion controls were really not very good. Having to shake the remote to swing the sword got old really fast.
You also dont have the C stick to easily control the camera.

The game was originally designed for the Gamecube. The normal button controls are so much better.

The intro is the same.

At the time I mocked those that bought a Wii for this game when they already owned a Gamecube.  Unless you were really excited by Wii Sports it didn't make sense to me to buy a whole new system for a game that was going to be available on a console you already owned.  Might as well wait for something else to tickle your fancy and maybe a price cut or something like that will have happened by then.

...and now it's even more funny because people like myself have a nice Gamecube collector's item as an extra reward for our restraint!

What about those of us who bought a Wii and the game and the GameCube version? ;)
Just some random guy on the internet who has a different opinion of games than you.

Eh the printer stuff for aiming was nice.

And then they went and messed it up in Skyward Sword. Great job guys.

My one and only trade-in regret.  "It's no worry, if I don't like the Wii version I can always get the GCN one back easy", sure.
