One thing is for certain, this game is going to suck!

New details have been revealed about the upcoming Nintendo 3DS title, Kirby Triple Deluxe.

The official website for the upcoming game has showed off many new gameplay and story details. When King Dedede, Kirby's reccurring foe, is kidnapped by Daranza, the game's villain, Kirby goes on an adventure to save him. In order to do this, Kirby must climb a beanstalk like plant, called the World Tree, to go to the Kingdom of Floarald, while collecting sun stones to take on bosses.

There looks to be about 20 possible abilities for Kirby to attain including a new bell ability, which uses sound to attack, and a horned beetle ability, where Kirby spikes enemies with his horn. Different videos on the official Triple Deluxe website, showed multiple uses of the 3DS's motion controls, tilting to move kirby in a glass bowl of water is just one example. StreetPass is used in the game to trade key chains, each key chain has an image from Kirby's history, there are over 250 to collect.

Kirby Triple Deluxe releases in Japan on January 11, no release date has been announced for North America or Europe.

I'm a staff writer here at good ol' Nintendo World Report, but I also have a Nintendo website at www.nintendogamerthoughts.com

Looks a lot like a handheld version of Return to Dream Land. I guess that's a good and bad thing.

Kirby's Universal Gravitation!

no, in all seriousness, I really fondly love the normal Kirby platformers, and I certainly got a lot more enjoyment out of playing Return to Dreamland then I did out of New Super Mario Bros. Wii or Donkey Kong Country Returns.

Maybe I need to play New Super Mario Bros. Wii again properly.

Maybe. >_>;;
