...but what are they saying? Is it distrust of the people making the game? Disinterest in the franchise/idea it's based on? Unwillingness to support a Wii U-based project (which seems pretty reasonable given the size of the install base)?
To some extent, likely all of the above. No one trusts Dennis Dyack to deliver a game anymore; anything related to Eternal Darkness hasn't been relevant since the early 2000s; no one's buying a Wii U right now; and the Kickstarter's costs & goals seemed extremely unrealistic.
