Brady Games is putting together Capcom's upcoming 30th anniversary character encyclopedia, set to release on October 21.

According to the Amazon product page, it will offer facts, statistics and historical information about nearly 200 characters featured in the book.

It also promises to "shed new light" on some characters, which gives Capcom fanatics plenty to look forward to. Capcom's official anniversary is on June 11, the first day of E3 2013.

I can see it now:

"Megaman: An unpopular titular character of an unpopular franchise that nobody likes. Seriously, stop bugging us about him."

Do you really think Capcom will write that much?

"Mega Man, a character, was created in 1987. (Not pictured)"

I think Capcom had a Quota on how many Mega Man titles they would allow themselves to make in a thirty year period. Right now there are ONE HUNDRED AND FREAKING TWENTY NINE TITLES. 129!

That's an average of 4.3 titles a year. I think we will be fine with no new Mega Manz for awhile more...
