Expect more than classic Kirby games in the upcoming collection.

Kirby’s Dream Collection: Special Edition is receiving additional content on top of the included six games in the collection. 

Not only will gamers be presented with an art booklet and a soundtrack, a new game mode will also be included. The game mode, called “Motto Challenge Stage” in Japanese, or “More Challenge Stage,” gives players the chance to go for high scores while making use or particular abilities. Included examples were “Sword Challenge” and “Fighter Death Match.” More Challenge Stage includes over 10 stages.

The collection will also include an on-disc calendar dubbed, “Kirby History,” which gives gamers information about Kirby games, manga, anime, and other products.

Kirby’s Dream Collection: Special Edition is scheduled for release in Japan on July 19 and September in North America.
