Topic: Donkey Kong Country SNES VC missing in Wii Shop Channel

Apparently you can't buy Donkey Kong Country 1, 2, or 3 from the Wii Shop Channel anymore as it appears Nintendo has pulled it sometime in November. Has anyone else noticed this?  This really sucks for me cause I never got around to buying the third game.

I knew this was happening, glad I got the first 2 years ago. Not sure if I got the third or not. 

I'm guessing they are being set up for some Wii U VC promotion when that specific system is out.

I noticed it a few weeks back when a friend over in Europe mentioned that they were taking them down over in his region and he didn't get them yet and he was going to get them. I have played the first 2 games back in the day but not the 3rd and I wanted to get around to dling the 2nd on the VC and beating it but didn't and so I missed out on playing the 3rd again. I just wanted to play the 3rd game just to play it.

i remember being really excited for dkc3 but one i played it, years after release, i was underwhelmed. i didn't think the levels were as interesting and the music wasn't as good. baby kong didn't add anything dramatically different to the formula the way dixie did.

i did get this on vc, possibly as a secret santa gift, and I enjoyed it much more three second time around, but my fondest memories will always be dkc2. it was just one if those rare sequels that outshines the original in every way (pun not intended)

I wish they would put up 1 week warnings before taking down games, I probably would have bought a points card and gotten the games.
