You DO realize those are all games we already knew about, right?  The schedule also does not list anything about the press conference reveals.

Podcasts have been talking about that one for ages.  I think the last Weekend Confirmed talked about it.

So what you are saying is that Sony's E3 may only be about games we already know and no big surprises?  Actually, this seems very likely.  After all, E3 is about promoting the games that will come out this year...not the next year.  So yeah, this could be all that Sony shows.  But, I can't decide if this lineup is in fact inspired or a dud.  And I can't tell which games are for Vita and PS3...

The other companies are a lot more likely to show things coming out later than this year. Nintendo used to do it too, until they got burned by games (Zelda) showing up at several E3s, so they've made a conscious effort to avoid that.

Considering only one game on that list is a Vita game (Lego Batman 2), I'd say Sony's holding their cards close to their chest until the Press Conference.  Sony has to have a huge lineup of Vita games at the press conference.  The Vita is flopping hard.  They don't have a choice.  This is just a list of games we already know about and when they will be shown.

I'm hoping for Gran Turismo for Vita. I was going to get the PSP one but it's missing the best part. Maybe Killzone as well, since I liked what little I played of the second one on PS3. Really, though, I'm hoping for a decent showing by third parties on the system more than anything.

Doesn't Sony know how to keep secrets anymore?

Sony has no reason to be secretive; its not as though anyone ever steals their "innovations".

It's not about someone stealing their game ideas. It's about making the biggest "wow" when they reveal the games at the conference.

Sony was never good at keeping secrets. Everything gets leaked from that company.

Anyway, The Last Guardian is noticeably missing from that list. Besides The Last of Us, The Last Guardian is the only Sony exclusive that even remotely interests me at the moment.

No, I'm not forgetting God of War: Ascension. I feel like the series has run its course. Once they finished the storyline, why bother? Ghost of Sparta was okay but had no chance of being better than God of War III. Ascension just seems unnecessary. It's another prequel, apparently focusing on Kratos around the time he pledged his life to Ares/after Kratos killed his family. That's the least interesting part of the mythos. Some stories just don't need to be told, some gaps don't need to be filled; mainly because they don't add anything. Maybe the gameplay will be good but unless there are some major changes (doubtful), I feel like I can wait on this one. The other games in the series dropped in price fairly quickly.

I don't think this is a complete list of all the games Sony will talk about. If it is, then they don't have any surprises left for the show. They already announced PS All-Stars Battle Royale, LittleBigKarting, and Sports Champions 2. Where is the surprise?

You don't see Nintendo announcing all their big games before the show. They like to have something to surprise people with.

Well, there are bound to be some surprises.  Though what if some of these games will also get Vita features.  Littlbigkarting could have a Vita component.  You know buy the PS3 version and get to download it on Vita...but the PS3 game has a premium cost.

ect., ect.

You know you bring up an interesting point about story...Nintendo always retells similar stories but people come back for the gameplay.  However, when the story is a huge component to your gameplay and why people play your games...then if you tell a bad story then people will be mad.
