Topic: New Skylander Characters Now Available

Go out and grab three new Skylanders now.

Three new Skylander characters were made available in stores today, as part of the Dragon's Peak Adventure Pack.

First to join the Skylanders ranks is Lightning Rod. Joining the air elemental Skylanders, Lightning Rod makes use of lightning bolts to take out enemies. Accompanying the fire element Skylanders is Sunburn. This part phoenix, part dragon creature breathes fire and has the ability to teleport. Lastly is Zook, who joins the life characters. Zook has the ability to launch thorns and protect himself using foliage.

The Dragon's Peak Adventure Pack adds another level to Skylanders: Spyro's Adventure, as well as other various upgrades.

Well, at least I can soothe the wounds of not being able to find Empire of Ice with hopefully finding these news ones. Toys R Us trips will be regular lunchtime excursions for me again...

I wish they ramp up production a bit.  I like to be able to find these new ones and the two expansions I'm now missing.  Though currently if you get into the game now you couldn't find any figures to go with it...

And I still can't find the Ice Expansion and all of the Franklin TN area is barren of Skylanders.

Also "Now Available" is a misnomer... No one in my area has gotten a shipment since the last week of February.

Yeah, they had a limit one (wanted to get a second for a co-worker), but it apparently still went pretty quick.  Glad I got mine in.  Managed to score online orders for both Legendary Trigger Happy and Blue Bash.  Yay.
