I could use a second charger for another location and I do need an SD card reader for my computer since all I have is a microSD USB adapter. So this could be really useful to assuming it's not complete and total garbage..

Eh...it's cool, but I don't think I would buy it.  It's larger than the pack-in 3DS cradle, I don't think the USB ports are necessary, and the game/SDcard/stylus slots are REALLY unnecessary.   And I bet the MSRP on this sucker will be $20.   Eh.

What would be awesome, and would get my money pretty easily, would be a cradle/charge station that could charge my 3DS and DSIXL simultaneously.  For long trips, I usually carry both  (because once you've seen DS games on the XL, you really, really can't go back to that tiny screen).  They'll both get their batteries depleted at the same time, so I'd like to charge both at the same time. 

Oh, and It would be nice if the docking station didn't look like one of those crappy office supply holders they give you whenever you start a new job.   Geez, if my wife saw this on my desk she'd say "What, so your job is to goof around playing games?"
