"Wheel of Mario" not at this years E3?
« on: May 12, 2003, 06:07:20 PM »
Ok, I just have one more question for you all.  While attempting to spy on the construction of Nintendo's E3 booth, I noticed that I saw no signs of the famous "Wheel of Mario" giveaway game.  Now I know it's still early, but I would be seriously disappointed to hear that the "Wheel of Mario" was not returning.

Does anyone know the answer to this mystery?

Ok, Nintendo's booth is like the size of a village. Thousands and thousands of square feet. It's like a freaking mall. You can't find something little like that from pics. It's like expecting to see Nintendo's secret game from the pics...by seeing through the boxes! Magic! oooh

No wheel this year, it's been replaced with numerous multiplayer challenges. Mario/Wario is haning out over the 8 player Mario Kart area.

I was so upset that the Wario Wheel was gone. It was a great and exciting way to win prizes. ;_; It seems this year there are hardly ANY freebies from Nintendo besides the GameBoy Advance SP carrying cases you win from a round of Pac-Man... And I have 7 of those now.
