Wow you are right, there are characters from Knuckles Chaotix in there. I loved that game, one of the few good titles on 32X. I really wish this were GC exclusive but I digress...at least we are getting game. Maybe Nintendo can do what they did with Rayman 3 and get us cube owners a temporary exclusive for 3 to 6 months. It seems Sega is finally putting the emphasis back on speed in this Sonic game.

Heh, wow. That almost destroyed my 56k =D

BUT IT WAS WORTH IT! Holy crap, it looks great so far!

Cream in 3D! A new robot dude! CHARACTERS FROM KNUCKLES CHAOTIX!

And that level shown there looks cool, is Sega finally going back to the traditional 'Chess board' textures on the levels? If so. YAY!

MUST. GET.

Hmm. Looks pretty slick... not exactly pushing the cube processor at this point, but those are probably PS2 screens.

Yeah it does look pretty slick...literally! Sonic and co. look...rubbery...like a whale...
And is that...
It's teh Knuckles homies from teh comics!!!11!!!!1!!!!!111
OMG OMG It's teh megaton!!!111!!
Seriously, this does look pretty cool. The Sonic and Knuckles comics were the only comics I've really read, and now all of the characters are going to be in a game together! Wheee!
Someone delete that thread I made about not caring this is going multiplatform I want exclusive! Oh well...Capcom 5 is still exclusive for now...RE4 and PN03 are exclusive forever..

All thoughs chaotix characters from the comics were in an old Sonic(Knuckles) game long time ago and will not have any ties to the comics trust me. Its just now Charmy(Bee) Vector(Crocidile) and Espio(purple chameleon) are now official Sonic Team characters.

I wonder if you will actualy control all 3 characters at once or swich of like the Donkey Kong Country games. Ether way it sure looks much more fun than anything in the Adventure series.  But something still kind of bothers me, I hope each Team of characters will have high speed stages. The Amy, Cream, and Big Team looks like they will play kinda slow not running as much as the others, I just can't see Big running in a loop. But since they all seem to be in the same area I guess it will be all good.

Shadow is back and that kinda ruins SA2's ending, I really hope there is a good reason why he is back. Him, Rouge and that Robot seem bad, and that really doesn't make sense becuase of the ending of SA2. They still just might be good but called Team Dark. Im almost positive this isn't another lousy hero/dark thing becuase the hero side far out wieghs the dark. And to top it all off the enemy was called the "ultimate evil" instead of just Eggman or something, so their cant be a her/dark story thingy.

You'll be able to switch between the three at any time, but not fully control everybody. Like, say you choose the team with Sonic, Knuckles and Tails, you'll be in control of Sonic the whole time. You can switch to Tails if you need to fly over a certain bit, or if there's a wall that can't be destroyed by Sonic, pull up Knuckles and get him to break it. Then you're back in control of Sonic.

It's going to be focused on faster gameplay too. None of this Tails in a slow-ass robot, or "Hey, let's dig for crap"

The game follows on from nothing, too. Hence the reason Shadow is there. It's a TOTALLY different story.

The great thing is the game is still fast, there was no camera complaints and... just read it.

Caterkiller, you are thinking of the Sega 32X game (or maybe CD, probably 32X) Knuckles Chaotix....
And yeah I know the game will have nothing to do with the comics, but that's where those characters have gotten the most spotlight.

Wow, I loved the other 3d Sonics, camera problems and all.  I would love a game free of those limitations.  I am a HUGE Sonic fan, and definatly excited about this game.
