Nintendo's top game designer also hasn't forgotten the Virtual Boy.

In a recent GameSpot interview, Shigeru Miyamoto was asked about various things, ranging from Starfox 64 3D to Nintendo's stance on the Wii U's power and pricing. Below are some points from the interview.

- Miyamoto feels that it was better for Nintendo to simply revamp Starfox 64, instead of making a new one from the ground up. Because it re-introduces the basis of the series to new people, and it was a way for Nintendo to get the game out more quickly.

- The Virtual Boy has not been forgotten by Miyamoto, and he has plans to possibly bring those games back on the 3DS. Although they might not be simple Virtual Console ports.

- On the subject of hardware power and pricing, Miyamoto said that Nintendo is very sensitive to what they price their systems at. They have to strike a balance so that parents are willing to buy the system, but at the same time they have all these technological advances which contribute to the overall cost. He thinks that Nintendo is a company that proberly pays the most attention between the hardware capabilities and the price of it.

- When showing off the Wii U controller to third party developers, Nintendo shows them various examples of how it could be used in games. Nintendo finds that the more they show them, the more it gets their creativity flowing and they start to see how they can implement it into games they currently have in development.
