Help needed regarding playing the Mother series in English on a Gameboy Advance

OK, so sorting this out is completely out of my wheel house so I'm hoping someone here will be kind enough to help me out. Could someone post an idiot proof step by step guide to how I could play the Mother series in English on my Advance please?

Yeah, I don't think you legally can do that since it requires actually messing with the cartridge itself.

It would technically be legal if you ripped the ROM from the Mother 3 cartridge you own to a PC, applied the patch, and then played it on a GBA/DS via a GBA flash cart.
