Topic: At long last. 8 years in the making. Kirby Wii is coming.

Let's go way way back to 2005 when word first broke on a new Kirby game. Didn't have much to go on then. Just a few screen shots.
 
Then E3 2006, we got this video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yy2l5BSBSL0 - Proof of Kirby's existance.
 
But being 2006 and the Gamecube was pretty much dead and forgotten with the focus shifting to the new DS system and upcoming Wii console, it kind of got forgotten about.
 
Then back around 2008 or maybe 2009, it's so hard to remember where one was when such amazing details were given, Nintendo announced that there was a Kirby Wii game in the works. And that was it. No screenshots or info. Just a title.
 
But most everyone felt that it had to be the Kirby Gamecube game just moved over. Maybe it was getting reworked with motion control. That could be good. Maybe it will actually be a full 3D game and not the sidescroller that was shown before. That could be interesting.
 
And then E3 2010 came. After waiting through 4 E3's hoping for the Kirby game to be shown, it finally came up. Sort of. Epic Yarn! Looks like they really did an overhaul on the Gamecube game.
 
And after waiting so long for a Kirby game and actually seeing one, everyone fell into the trap that this must be the long-awaited Kirby game.
 
Wrong! Before E3 2011, Nintendo confirmed another Kirby Wii was coming. And it looks a lot like the 2006 model. And not just because Nintendo has pretty much killed the Wii and is now shifting focus to their new 3DS handheld and upcoming WiiU Console. With nothing really shown about the Wii except Zelda, here was at least something else to show to at least pretend that Nintendo still cared about the Wii. But once again, Kirby's GC/Wii game got the shaft.
 
At least this time, it's been given a release date of November. I think. Why is no one covering this? Surely after 8 years of production, this is sure to be better than Zelda which only had 4-5 years of production time.
 
NWR really should be giving this game more coverage. Everyone else and their dog will cover Zelda and Mario Kart 3DS and that other stuff. But they could corner the market on Kirby Wii info. Be the exclusive news providers. It's going to be huge!
 
And even if no one else wants to, then I'll cover it myself. This is the Kirby Wii Mega-Thread!

I thought that we had a thread on this so I didn't create one meself, but now I see that it is a combo thread with the announcement of Pandora's Tower so it won't do. Oh well, I like your enthusiasm. I am also looking forward to this game, I heard it was coming in the fall which I guess means September-October?
