The upcoming Nintendo DS game has sprung its head up in this week's Famitsu. UPDATED with details.

After first being announced last year at Nintendo's annual fall conference, Atsumete! Kirby completely fell off the radar. That is, until it resurfaced in the most recent issue of Famitsu.

Atsumete! Kirby is the fourth Kirby game to be released for the Nintendo DS. In this quirky platformer, players must take control of 10 different Kirbys by consuming fruit scattered across each stage.

Control is conducted using the touch screen. Tapping on the screen will create a star, which the Kirbys will walk to. Double-tapping the screen will cause them to run. If one of the Kirbys dies, another can retrieve the dead body and save it before it turns into an angel.

Atsumete! Kirby is slated for an unspecified 2011 release in Japan.

Reminds me of March of the Mini's from the description.
