Portable 'Nintendo Channel' for 3DS

Short entertainment videos will be viewable by 3DS owners.

A short-form video service, in the style of the previously announced SpotPass, will be available in late May when a system update will be available for the Nintendo 3DS.

The service acts much like a portable Nintendo Channel and will bring exclusive content to 3DS with Nintendo-moderated selections such as comedy clips and music videos.

This doesn't sound like the Nintendo Channel. The Nintendo Channel doesn't offer comedy clips and music videos, it offers things like game trailers, information videos, and sometimes developer interviews, as well as being a database of Wii and DS software, including user ratings and statistics.
