Could we see the return of this game at E3?There should be some surprises for e3 yet right?

I don't know. I won't be surprised, since pratically all of Nintendo's franchises are with 3rd parties now, so they have to have done something with all that money, time and resources.

Well, Kid Icarus hasn't seen the light of day since the Gameboy version way back in 1989 or so.  I'd love to see it come to either the Gameboy or the Gamecube.  I don't see it happening though.

i could honestly see an announcement coming for a return of kid icarus
nintendo did just open that new developement house in which no one knows its use yet
personally i would love to see a new kid icarus in the making
dont rule it out but it is doubtful we will see it at this years e3

I highly doubt it. This is supposed to be the year of new franchises anyway...

While I like kid Icarus and might buy this game if it was made am doubtful.  If it was ever made it would most likely be on the GBA.  This game was one of my favorite gameboy games when i was growing up, though i wasnt to good at it.

Ice Climbers has a more likely chance of returning that Kid Icarus...and I think we all secretly know Ice Climbers ain't having a hell of a chance of returning on GCN at least.

Kid Icarus kills Ice Climbers!  And I think there will be a new Kid Icarus for BOTH the GC and GBA...connectivity..connectivity.   Capcom would make a good Kid Icarus game....

i personaly think dead pheonix is being re-vamped to be the next kid icarus! they look so similar, only with more mature graphics

I know this E3 is suppose to be the yeat of new franchises, but think about it: Wario World is not a new franchise because Wario has always been on the GB games, Mario golf is not a new franchise neither Mario Kart nor Metroid Prime 2 right?. So I STILL think we can see some footage of Kid Icarus even if it's in early stage. It's been what 14 years or so since we saw Kid Icarus? What about Pitfall Harry he's back u know (i know he's not from the big N but still) Besides we got a little hint on that SSBM Trophie didn't we? As usual we'll just have to  and see.

Its a game that debuted on the NES in about 86-87.  It was released around the same time as Metroid.  It was a platforming /action/adventure game.  In it you played 'Kid Icarus', a winged hero.  Armed with a bow and arrow. If you know the story of Icarus, you know about the wings and flying too close to the sun, and so on it goes.   It is a great game.  You should check it out, young man.
