This topic makes me want to boot up my Win98 machine and see if SimCity 2000 is still on it (which it should be because I don't recall ever deleting anything).

I think I still have my copy of SimCity 2000, I have no idea if it works on my laptop or not though. I know that RollerCoaster Tycoon does (I had the itch to play it last year), but the expansion pack I own for it, RollerCoaster Tycoon: Corkscrew Follies, does not. A shame too since the expansion pack added good stuff like "No Entrance" signs (to stop stupid park visitors from going up the exit path of a ride).

I loved playing Sim Tower. One of the class computers in my middle school had it installed and we would spen a lot of time playing it between lessons. It was great.

Ah yes, Sim Tower. I loved those multi-level lobbies! ;)

I have SimTower on there too. I remember I would always get stuck once the tower rating reached three stars. Then suddenly there was a lot of stuff which could be built and keep track of, and I never figured out the best way to manage it all and have the tower be good enough to reach the next rank.

I assume you missed out of the chapel then? That's sad... and not very romantic. :(

I always liked renaming random janitors to "Dirty Harry" for some reason.

I loved Sim Tower. Yoot Saito's sort-of sequel to it was one of the reasons I bought a DSi, but sadly it never made its way out of Japan. I recently learned, though, that there's an iPad version of it, and they are planning on releasing that here, which made me very happy.
