edit: LOL WTF how did this guy make it onto TV? don't people scout out the people that come on their shows ahead of time? especially if they are gonna be demonstrating something?

I've been to one of the towns he "visited." I've also got family who did the local news biz. This is totally believable.  I'm just mad I didn't think of it.
