No, the heart doesn't give you any special powers or anything. You still haven't taken the time to tell me exactly what the problem is. You can't get past zombies? You chop off zombies' heads. Nothing changes there.

After you get Manatork's heart, the chapter is over. If you pay attention to the game, it should be immediately obvious what to do next when you are back in the mansion.

By the way, you have to realize that what you are doing is like going into a McDonalds and asking for that brown thing that's on the menu.
