I loved MM.  I loved the dungeons, even though I only got to the Great Bay one.  I enjoyed all the little side-quests, and gathering all the masks.  My favorite part would just be putting on the zora mask and just go swimming through the bay.  Same with rolling with the goron mask.  It was a waste of time, but it was just so much fun.

Yeah, true.  That's always something I've loved to do with Zelda games.  I have an overactive imagination, so when I beat the game or something I just run around and make up my own characters and storyline (not to say that the original isn't amply good enough; it is).  The masks (MM mainly but also Oot) really helped that.  I also like hookshooting from roof to roof in Kakariko Village (in Oot).  I have an obsession about roofs, both real and virtual, which is one of the reasons I liked SMS so much.
