Nintendo Hiring A Wii USB Tester: HDD On The Horizon?

Anybody who has a large stash of Virtual Console and/or WiiWare titles is fully aware of the space limitations that come with being a Wii owner.

An external hard drive has been rumored ever since the console was first released but nothing has come to fruition to date.

But Nintendo could have something in the works -- Nintencast has noticed that there's a job opening on the corporate website for a "Software/Hardware Tester."

Part of the job description is "creating and executing a test plan for Wii's USB devices" as well as "executing test plans with great attention to detail and documenting bugs."

Could this be a precursor to the announcement of an external USB HDD?
