Which Pokemon gets the honor?

The Pokemon Centers in Japan have announced a new Special Edition Pokemon Center GBA SP, to celebrate their 5 year anniversary.

The Pokemon “Torchic” gets the nod as the first Pokemon to be emblazoned on a Game Boy Advance SP. The metallic orange 5th Anniversary GBA SP goes on sale on April 11th at Pokemon Centers in Japan, and online through their website for the regular GBA SP price of 12,500 yen.

Whether or not this GBA SP will be released here in the states is unknown, but we’re sure import stores will be selling these for much higher prices soon after they're released.

I doubt it will be released in the states because it seems we won't even be getting the black SP

This is a quote from an email I got in reply from Nintendo regarding the black SP

" At this time, we don't have any plans to release a black-colored Game
Boy Advance SP here in North America. "
