130 Euros is quite a deal, KDR. But it'd still be deadweight if you can't think of... what, 3 more games in addition to EDF and GTA IV you'd play on it? .. what sort of games DO you like? What are you looking for?

The sun, for sorrow, will not show his head:
Go hence, to have more talk of these sad things;
Some shall be pardon'd, and some punished:
For never was a story of more woe
Than this of Sega and her Mashiro.

I can play pretty much anything that's not racing, sports or Tom Clancy though I often decide on a case by case basis for no real reason. RPGs only occassionally since they take way more time than I have so I forget about playing them further (I forget faster if the RPG is open-ended). 3d fighting games not much as I can't remember arbitrary button sequences well and prefer the direct mapping of 2d games where a button tends to do the same thing every time and I can remember my combos by action instead of button. Not sure about platformers, haven't played many of those. I like sidescrolling 2d games but that probably doesn't do anything on home consoles. I prefer FPSes with lots of firepower and targets, going out and killing stuff instead of cowering behind a wall and emptying a whole clip into a single target. I've made the experience that great games of a genre tend to be fun even for those who don't know or like the genre though.

Overall I'm looking for good games I can't get on my PC or Wii though. I guess the difficulty of putting what I want into words is also the reason I have trouble finding a game selection.

Then 360 is not for you, their best games are all on PC also and the rest are either on PS3 or to some extent on Wii also. I am the opposite. I don't keep my PC up to date enough to play games so even being on PC I would have to get a game on whatever console it is available for.

Pale: I knew that but I was listing the games from memory. PLus he said PS3 was too expensive so I was trying to show what was on 360 that might be good.

KDR at this point a gaming PC is the best for you since a lot of multiplat games on PC is cheaper and if they are console orientated you can always grab a 360 or PS3 pad(with USB to mini usb cable) and use one. A lot of 360 exclusives end up on the PC anyways. As for another console a PS3 when you can can afford one.

I think this generation is in a sorry state more than anything. High console prices, price hike on games(PS3/360), super short single player and a multiplayer mode that supposed to last players hundreds of hours, ship it out fast patch and fix the game later are some of the horrible mentalities this generation has brought.
