Red Faction II question
« on: April 02, 2003, 01:02:21 PM »
What's goin on ya'll?  I haven't bought a new FPS for anything since Time Splitters 2 (very highly recommended) and Red Faction 2 sparks my interest.  Anyone played it on the PC?  Or on another system?  I want some good feedback on whether or not it's worth the buy, cuz I beat WW already.  :-\
I think, therefore I wish.  I wish, therefore I'll never get.

well i played through red faction 2 on the ps2 and i liked it
it was fun to play
if you ever played the first one it was like that
but i will assume you havent
see there are no levels per say- it is all one seamless world
and the whole game is filled with tons and tons of action- like shooting constantly and stuff
its not like prime with sectioned off sectors and different themed levels
you basically start and you keep going through the game
also the georama system is pretty cool- you can shoot the ground and break it up and even make tunnels and such
it works great
the graphics are pretty good as so is the sound
also the multiplayer is pretty good with bots playable, options you can tweak, different maps
its not as good as timesplitters 2 multi but then again what fps is....
well i would recommend it but if you are unsure rent it first and try it
i call the big one bitey.
