How can you tell if you've got a "mono" version? I don't have fancy speakers hooked up to my tv or anything, but I wouldn't mind getting a free faceplate!

Yes they should, it's **** right now.

Yes, they should.  But, at least, the online issue only effects that one part of the game.  The sound issue with Guitar Hero effects pretty much every aspect of the gameplay.

Also, I don't think that the game was "unplayable" or "greatly hindered" by mono sound. Maybe It's because my car only has one working speaker- that's why I don't notice low quality sound? But my roommate beat all four difficulties before I told him it was mono and he was surprised. So, I don't think too many people really would have really known the difference. Also, if they took the Dolby logo off the box, would that even have changed the sales? Would you have looked at the back of the box and decided not to buy it?
