Tales of Symphonia Website Updated
« on: June 30, 2004, 05:31:15 AM »
Get a pre-order bonus and learn more about the gameplay features.

Namco's official Tales of Symphonia website has been updated with a lot of new information.  Specifically, there is now a listing of preorder bonuses being given out at certain retailers.  Both EB and Gamestop are giving away a lithograph when you preorder and an art book when you pick up the game.  EB also has a coupon deal for $20 off the price of Tales of Symphonia when you trade in Final Fantasy: Crystal Chronicles.  Can you smell the rivalry?

Other updates on the site include explanations for many of the game's systems and features, such as multiplayer, EX skills, cooking, and skits.  There is also a new gameplay movie to download.

Maybe it's a lithograph and EB is calling it a miniposter?  Because I'd trust Namco more...

hehe, when I first reserved ToS (before I cancelled and got MegaMan AC), the employee taking the reserve excused himself for a moment.  when he came back, he had a lithograph (mini-poster techincally)!

Its not bad, it has a big close-up of Llyod, Genis on the right, with the mercenary dude beside him. Collete, Sheena, and a few others I don't know the names are on the left. Nice little piece to tide the people over.

Has anyone seen this art book yet?  Is it gonna just be a little boring paperback thing, or is this gonna be a bound bookshelf worthy book?

If it's anything like Namco's SCII promo artbook, it will be paperback...The SCII one is about 100 pages long...
