"Note again that I think this entire release was thought up by Perrin Kaplan. While taking a bath. Hey, it's nicer to think about than Yamauchi taking one." --Elessar.

You. Sick. Genius.

Anyway... I know that gba in the pic is a mock-up, but it looks like both the dpad and the buttons are sunk down slightly. I don't remember the dpad being sunk on the nes controller.. any word on whether this edition of the sp will just be a paintjob or whether it really will have sunk down controls? personally, i don't like them sunken, though it would protect the screen. (I don't have a real sp, nor any pics of it..)

Xevious?  Neat.

I imagine this set is aimed towards two types of people.  Collectors, who buy lots of stuff regardless of whether they have it already or not, and 25-year-old corporate employees or factory workers or dairy farmers, etc whatever, who have long since put down the controller, but now would like a round of Donkey Kong on their lunch break, and may not care if Nintendo already released it in Animal Crossing or whatnot.

What I find amusing is that some people whined and bitched and moaned about the possibility of Nintendo's Famicom Mini series staying in Japan, and then now turn around and bitch that LESS THAN WHAT NCL was originally charging might be too much.

That is the worst press release of all time.  I hate the 80's so much.

But I'm still buying the Zelda cart.  Of course.
I find the lack of sig images annoying. I have this nice image I use as my sig in all my other forums and I can't use it here.  So instead I'll just complain...

Edisim: That's just a repaint, the SP has those lowered things as well.

Ahahaha, this is the lamest release from Nintendo, and I love it! I say bring back more of those 80s games along with the music. Leave the hairstyles alone
