I am a HUGE Star Wars fan (who isn't?). At 27 years old, I can honestly say that I have been into Star Wars for the last 23 or 24 years.

I own Rogue Leader for my Game Cube and I love it. My question is for anyone that owns or has played the other Star Wars games available for the Cube. I have seen Jedi Outcast, The Clone Wars and Bounty Hunter in the stores. I haven't really seen much mentioned about any of these games on-line. The little I have seen wasn't very flattering. Are these games really that bad? Are any of them worth adding to my collection, or should I just forget about them and wait for Rogue Squadron III?

Thanks.

I have Jedi knight and Clone wars.  I enjoy them both very much.  With Jedi Knight, it starts off slow.  But when you start getting the force, it gets real good.  Clone wars is a good game.  I think it's underrated .  I'd give Jedi Knight an 8 and Clone Wars a 7.5.  I haven't played Bounty hunter.

I haven't played it on Cube but I did play Jedi Outcast on my friends PC and its a sweet game. If I wasn't so cash strapped right now I'd buy it but with all the third party titles hitting this month.....jeez I was expected quality Nintendo games but now that third parties are getting into the act I'm never going to have any cash.

I have Bounty Hunter, and it's a very good game. It has plenty of cool extras, and the only real problem is a slight lack of attention by the creators to detail. But, overall it's awesome. I just rented Jedi Knight, and it's OK so far, but I haven't gotten any Force Powers yet, I just started playing. Never played Clone Wars, but I'll be renting that next. I'm a big Star Wars fan myself. Rogue Leader is still the best, I think, in quality.
If we're in the Matrix, Microsoft would be the machines, Sony the mindless masses, and Nintendo would be Neo before he realizes his true potential. I've been watching too much god damned tv...

I have Jedi Outcast for my Cube (gotit fro Christmas)- I wouldn't say it's as bad as many people claim it is, but it's probably my least favorite game for my Gamecube (which isn't saynig much because I love them all ). The single player is pretty entertaining, especially the lightsaber combat, and the multiplayer can be very fun as well. I don't know if I'd buy it, though. I'd suggest for you to get it on the PC (where it is generally considered a very good game)- besides that, you can have customized character skins.

I've heard some mixed reviews about Bounty Hunter although I haven't personally played it. I'd suggest renting that before buying.

As for Clone Wars, I rented it for my Gamecube and it's really boring. There's just not a whole lot to do and when there is you'll find excuses to stop playing the game. Rent it if you want, but I wouldn't buy it if I were you.

Pisses me off that the XBox gets KOTOR, though. My computer's too crappy to run the PC version.

Jedi Outcast is a great game..... BUT if your PC can handle it.... get it for your PC. As for the best Star Wars game .... it will probablyy be Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic.... that game looks stellar.

I'd wait for Rogue Squadron 3.  From all indications, it should have multiplayer and some of the best graphics ever to grace any and I mean ANY of the current crop of Next Gen consoles.  Though this is  wishful thinking on my part, online could be there.    I just can't get enough of playing RS2, and even though I got it at launch, and have beaten it twice, there is nothing like taking after some Tie fighters after you've had a particularly trying day running after your two year old son.
By they way, I'm 28 myself, and have followed the saga since I was a pup. I haven't played any of the other games, but from what I've seen they just don't seem like anything I'd want to play.  But from what I've read, Jedi Knight 3 sound VERY promising and is something I'd wait for as well as RS3.

I am a big starwars fan as well and have loads of boxes full of starwars stuff.  and I am sad to say the only other star wars game worth owning and not just renting is bounty hunter.

The other are worth a rental for sure. But if you just wanna go buy, then your safest bet is bounty hunter.

As probably most people who replied to this thread, I, too am a Star Wars fan (you can probably tell from my name, I've been into Star Wars for about 6 years now... not that much, but my collection is growing). I got Clone Wars for Christmas and I must say it's very disappointing. I saw it being unveiled at the Celebration II and I was like, "Wow, that game is going to be the next Rogue Leader!" As it turns out, the sound tracks are poor and you can tell when they repeat, the graphics aren't great, and the foot missions are so bad you want to kill yourself.
I bought Jedi Outcast for the PC when it came out, and it's an awesome game, but I haven't played the GCN version.
I haven't played Bounty Hunter. I gave up on third-person Star Wars adventure games after the horror that was Shadows of the Empire (N64).
Check out the games I own!

1) Final Fantasy VIII - PSX

Everyone - thank you for your comments.

Jedi Master Yoda - I thought Shadows Of The Empire was an awesome game on the N64. I wish they would make a Cube Exclusive sequel!
