Somebody bring it to the U.S. right now. I saw Bill's journal and he's on me with this one.

Jones has a melon soda too I believe.
Carmine Red, Associate Editor

A glooming peace this morning with it brings;
The sun, for sorrow, will not show his head:
Go hence, to have more talk of these sad things;
Some shall be pardon'd, and some punished:
For never was a story of more woe
Than this of Sega and her Mashiro.

Someone should have pointed out this entry to me sooner... so many great shots in here! Japan sure does love their giant ferris wheels too... did you get to see the one in Yokohama Bill?

That looks like a neat trip. One thing I always notice when I go to new places is the trees and the whole feeling of atmosphere that the greenery provides. That walk in the country side, other than the unique buildings, did you still feel like you were in another country? Looking at the photos nothing unique really sticks out in terms of texture of the leaves. Did you get a look in the stream to see if there was any crawfish or anything like that in there?

The forests were fairly dense like much of the hiking I've done (And I'm a big hiker...Our trips always include hiking...Always...), but the waterfalls mixed in with the streams gave it an almost fantasy "feel" quite unlike anything I've done before...Not to mention how well the small villages scattered throughout felt perfectly placed within their forest surroundings...
