Worried about spoilers before the launch of The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker?  Read this quick warning.

If you want to keep yourself from seeing any BIG Wind Waker Spoilers, DO NOT open the latest Nintendo newsletter sent by E-Mail.

Inside this e-mail is a picture that gives major clues into part of the story line which should be avoided if you're trying to go spoiler free.  We suggest deleting it.

Fiddlesticks! next time I'll make sure to visit Planet Gamecube BEFORE I check my random emails  Oh well, could it have been that much of a spoiler though? seems like a senseless thing to do if they're trying to keep something a surprising secret.  Alas, I'll enjoy the hell out of the game regardless

Hey, I only know that it's a major spoiler now after reading your warning.  Well, to be honest I had an idea that it was a spoiler when I read the email but I wasn't sure.  Then anyone might not want to check out the characters link on the zelda website if they want to avoid further spoilers.
Maybe throughout the course of the game you somehow acquire one of the Goldeneye satellites. And maybe you somehow control it with your golden eye. -me

Good lord...yeah, no more checking mail from Nintendo, if they're gonna ruin their own games...I'll still be getting the game, regardless, but still...

Oh well...that's what I get for reading mail 'bout games when I can find info elsewhere, like here...

Too late for me.  I'd like to meet the dickhead at Nintendo who approved of that email.  That's almost as bad a blowing the ending in the commercials.  Imagine if Ocarina of Time commercials had featured Sheik revealing his identity.  What sort of f*cking idiot could be so stupid?!

LOL, Well, I agree its not the best pic to use for the newsletter, but actually the surpise was spoiled for me way long ago when I pre-ordered the game. See that Wind Waker preview booklet that comes with the OoT/Master quest game?. Yeah well just look at it for god's sake, that figure in the back looks purty familiar.

I'm seeing triple over here...anyway about your comment Vegetendo 101, I think the spoiler encompasses more than the obvious "figure" you're talking about.  Nevertheless, we should all email Nintendo and let them know to keep an eye out for silly oopsies like this one.  Even if Planet GameCube hadn't told you that it was such a huge spoiler, you could put two and two together and assume such.  Oh and for those of you who haven't seen the image yet, it has NOTHING to do with Tingle and his red bikini briefs
