Topic: Silent Hill Arcade, maybe Silent Hill Wii?

With the Silent Hill Arcade game just being released, what are the chances that we will see this ported to Wii?

Bring on the light gun games I say!

Light-gun games...I don't even know my stance on them. On one hand I can't wait for Umbrella Chronicles but on the other, I don't want more, not even an Umbrella Chronicles 2. It's just a genre I tend to stay away from. I just feel like it's an inferior version of a FPS and why play an inferior game?

Because some people like light gun games?

I know my dad LOVED playing House of the Dead 2 for DC and he always questions why more light gun games don't come out for various systems.

I look forward to being able to play more light gun games with my dad =)

Yeah but you can only play so much of them. Well that's what I feel. I can't play too much of them because I get so tired of them quite quickly. I'm guessing that's why the arcade versions are so awesome for me. I've only got a few coins so I'm limited in my time...wow I'm neurotic.

I can say that about almost any repetitive game.

I can only play so much FPSer, or Sports Games, definitely RPGs.  Because the gameplay is all very repetitive and similar.  So lets not make any more games in those genres.

Heck, that also goes with 2D fighters, 2D platformers, and racing games.

The fact is some people (including myself) love lightgun games, and want to play them at home.  Yes, they are usually only entertaining in short bursts, but they are still fun.  And you can revisit the games easily over and over and share the experience with friends that haven't yet played the game.

Afterall, most people know how to shoot a gun, and enjoy shooting animated monsters with fake guns...its in our overly violent human nature.

Totally off-subject, but I played House of the Dead 4 yesterday, it's pretty awesome. Can't wait for the 360 version.
