Original Launch Game Cube ticket.  In my box.  That advertises Rare's Kameo.  Good times.

I found this relic about a week ago while cleaning out the closet. It's not ID'ed by name, but it's N64 and Mario 64.

When I found out they broke the date, I hauled ass down there before the potential after-school rush.

"Pay less" my ass, Kay-Bee. $70 for Mario. Heh.

HAH I have the Kameo Elements of Power GC as well.  Funny stuff.

Considering one could, possibly, say they purchased the system *just* for Kameo - and the game never came out for the system, could someone sue?  In theory, of course...

(don't let this detract from the posting of other receipts... this is neat stuff!  Who's got their original NES receipt?

UncleBob: Look at the box some more. If I recall, there might have been a "game selection subject to change" type message somewhere.

I was just looking at my Gamecube box the other day and noticed this too!  Two Rare games that never saw the light of day on the GC.  I wonder how Donkey Kong Racing would've turned out?

ya, i don't think they should be allowed to put games on the back of a box that haven't come out yet......it is false advertising

It's easy to wonder what  could have been if Rare hadn't been purchased by MS...so just pretend it would have turned out exactly like it did for MS and laugh at them! Ha ha ha ha....

I was, at first, sad to have Rare leave. Though, looking at it down the road I was glad they were gone. Their games just aren't what they used to be. They lost far too many of the original developers that made Rare well...Rare. It just isn't the same.
