  This week Jonathan Metts relives the glory days with me in another set of awesome video game music.  What games did we pick?  Why did we pick them?  If I told you here, it wouldn't be Radio Trivia, now, would it?  You'll have to listen to find out!

Well, remember Birdo was in Super Mario RPG, so even if you want to argue about Mario All Stars, Birdo doesn't match with that being Birdo's non-8bit debut.

Lololo and Lalala were bosses in at least Kirby's Super Star, being the easiest bosses in the game, they pushed blocks back and forth, basically.  Very easy.

Fixed.
I am Karl Castaneda's news-posting clone, also known as Karl Castaneda #2. I have an inferiority complex, thanks to my being a clone. Fear me!

And remember, if you or someone you know loves podcast trivia, do yourself a favor and enter the Mafia game being held in the Phantom Bloodworth forums. If you win the Mafia game, you will win the oppurtunity to work with TYP and make a podcast trivia edition. Now you could pick the songs and the questions. Sign-ups for the mafia game close this saturday evening.

Thatguy pretty much covered a couple of the points I was going to make. I do believe that lololo and lalala also make an appearence in Kirby's Avalanche.

Also, Birdo was a boss in Super Mario RPG and was a big surprise to see when I was playing the game. So, I would join in classifying that as Birdo's 16 bit debut.

And on the topic of Waluigi, I also am a big fan of Waluigi. I pretty much choose him for any game he is in, parties, golf, tennis. Only Mario Kart do I end up choosing someone else because of better traits. Still, I love the Waluigi and am very disappointed no one as chosen him yet for the Nintendo Villains Mafia game.

I was watching X-Play on Wednesday and it was the first time I'd seen that show in a long time. It just so happened they were reviewing Wario: Master of Disguise. I waited for that review and figured they'd probably rip into it a bit but they actually liked a lot, which surprised me. They gave it a four ................................................... out of five. I think that's the highest review I've seen of the game. Wierd. Even Nintendo Power gave it a 6 out of ten which is a rare thing to see for one of their own mascot games.

On the subject of Wario World, I liked that game a lot but it did become a bit repetative. It was also a bit short and easy to get 100%. Anyways, I did like the game. But the wierd thing is, when it came out, there was a video game reviewer in the local paper I read and he gave the game an A+ and said it was the first game that warrented a purchase of the GameCube. He just seemed to love this game. It's wierd because he didn't give other games an A score like Super Mario Sunshine or Rogue Leader or Smash Bros. But Wario World was the game that wowed. Wario does strange things to reviewers.

And can I just say that I hope the classic Wario design makes into Smash Bros. Brawl. I'm not a fan of the Wario Ware/biker look and hope I can at least switch his uniform to the classic platformer/yellow shirt, purple overalls look. That's the Wario I know.

Finally, I loved the second song from Beyond Good and Evil that you played. Never heard it before until now but thought it was excellant.

I'm glad TYP made the effort to get Johnny to join him since Johnny made a lot of interesting points even if things got sidetracked and it was neat hearing about the history of how this all got started. Great stuff!

A glooming peace this morning with it brings;
The sun, for sorrow, will not show his head:
Go hence, to have more talk of these sad things;
Some shall be pardon'd, and some punished:
For never was a story of more woe
Than this of Sega and her Mashiro.
