Virgin Channel On Wii
« on: April 11, 2007, 05:18:51 PM »
Virgin Records has announced they will be offering their radio stations through the Wii and PS3.

The service allows you to not only listen to 4 of their radio stations, but you can download music and also buy concert tickets.

As of now this is only available in the U.K so you blokes better use the mess out of this so us Americans can get it too!!

Hopefully with this, more games will start allowing you to use your own music during the game, with the ability to dowload it right to the Wii, or even just listen to the radio, it would be much easier.

So wait...This is basically SB's prediction of an iTunes Wii channel, except with Virgin instead of Apple...Talk about crushing a big lug's prediction .

At first I thought this was going to be a joke about gaming nerds' lack of sexual experience, and came prepared for some lols.

Honestly, I'm a bit disappointed.

(Don't ask me what purpose that channel would serve.  I could think of some interesting possibilities though :P)

Hmm? It isn't a channel - it's just a radio website customised for the Wii Opera Browser. There are already many like this.. so it definitely isn't "basically an iTunes Wii channel"

Yeah sorry about that, I didn't realize that until after I posted it.

Edit: I'm a little behind the times.

It doesn't debunk my prediction, but I do feel it becomes less and less likely all the time.

Huh? What made you change your mind on the prediction?
