Topic: My new site is up

Hey guys,

My friends and I have completed our promo site for our web comic/discussion site.  I invite everyone to check it out and let me know what you think thus far.  We plan on having the actual site up in August, complete with forums, headers, ads, the works.

Seriously, any feedback, positive or negative would be helpful.

You have a disclaimer on the home page Best Viewed 1024 x 768, but I still have to scroll to see everything. Granted, the homepage is just a little scroll, but a comic I looked at was a bit too wide. I wouldn't go wider than 950 pixels.

Also, with that comic in particular, I guess I'm missing the message. The character paraphrases John Kennedy, yet his written speech uses the line associated with Richard Nixon. Whats the connection?

I love the idea that the homepage uses. It'd be cool to see the live version use Flash if possible.

Bustin: Yeah, the site is supposed to be in 1024, but I have a little scrolling myself.  As for the comic size, that particular comic was made well before we decided on the size, so it is quite massive and the one's that follow may be the same.  The comics we post on the actual site will be the right size though.  There really is no connection between the two speeches, just Dover showing that he really doesn't know a whole lot about politics in general.

TVman: Did I break forum rules?  Let me guess, I shouldn't be advertising my site on the forums, right?  If I am wrong here, than I would gladly offer the mods to lock this thread.  I don't want to cause trouble, but I don't know a better way to get the word out.  Any suggestions?
