I guess noone here likes their music....

What a shame. This is the best news I've heard all year. A band that I never thought would get back together and a band that I've always wanted to see live is getting back together. And their playing with the Wu-tang clan, a rap outfit that I've always been a fan of.

How f@cking outrageous.

Rage have slowly been slipping into formulaic mediocrity since their first album.  Each album was slightly less interesting than the previous.  Renegades is easily their best effort since their first album because it forced them to shake things up a bit.

I hope we get to hear Zach's solo stuff sometime; I had high hopes for it.
Why must all things be so bright? Why can things not appear only in hues of brown! I am so serious about this! Dull colors are the future! The next generation! I will never accept a world with such bright colors! It is far too childish! I will rage against your cheery palette with my last breath!

I love rage and disagree with whomever posted above me, i'm too... "lazy" to scroll down and check right now!

However excited I am to see them play (I live 15mins from NYC) it blows that they aren't actually reuniting, they're just coming together to do these shows. Originally it was only going to be Coachella, but because of the response they got from announcing the one show they decided to do more. They're playing in 3 other cities if I remember correctly.

Smashing Pumpkins are reuniting and releasing another album, although no U.S tour is planned as of now.
Silly monkeys; give them thumbs they make a club and beat their brother down. How they survive so misguided is a mystery. Repugnant is a creature who would squander the ability to lift an a eye to heaven conscious of his fleeting time here.

Nah, Cornell has said that he's looking to do more solo work. And I think Rage are just looking to tour at the moment - it'll be interesting to see what comes out of the reunion shows.

And yes, its good to see Zack back in the limelight. Rock on.

Very interesting.

What's doubly interesting that Wu-Tang and RATM are hooking up one more time. According to RZA's "The Wu-Tang Manual" that when they originally toured back in '97, some of the Wu-members couldn't stick it out. RZA pleaded with them, that this tour would be monumental, but they pulled out. What a pity...

I guess they're on good terms for them to go at it one more time. Good thing too, Rock and Hip-Hop both need a swift kick in the pants. Who better than these two groups?

This is another reason why I am excited. I have seen real talented hip-hop and rock in a while (more so hip-hop).

Fixed!

But this will be my first rap concert for the exact same reason. IMO the only good rappers alive and still making music (Dr. Dre we miss you) are; Nas, Eminem, 50 Cent(his non-commercial songs, and even not all of those), and Papoose, who's pretty new and has signed with G-Unit, I don't listen to the radio so I don't know if he's getting popular or not.

Obviously Wu-Tang can now be added to the list, but they've been gone for a long long time, just like RATM.
